Gignilliat, Savitz & Bettis, L.L.P. was founded in 1968 by Julian Gignilliat, to exclusively represent management in employment and labor law issues within South Carolina. Since that date, we have striven to assure that all employers – large or small, public or private – receive the same high quality legal representation in labor and employment matters. Among the oldest employment law firms in South Carolina, GS&B has maintained an atmosphere of professional and financial accessibility to its clients for more than 40 years. Every one of our seven partners has been certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as a specialist in employment and labor law, a designation held by fewer than 100 of the more than 11,000 members of the South Carolina Bar. We represent employers with workforces ranging from a few employees to tens of thousands. We represent small towns and have represented the last five Governors of the State of South Carolina. All receive the same level of service. And because we limit our practice to employment and labor law within the confines of South Carolina, we are able to practice effectively and efficiently.

GS&B has been able to maintain its original vision largely due to a spirit of collaboration. No client belongs to any particular attorney or team.
