New NLRB Notice Poster Requirement Postponed Again

January, 03 2012

The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has once again delayed implentation of its new notice posting requirement for private employers. Originally set to take effect on November 14, 2011, then delayed to January 31, 2012, the NLRB has now pushed back implentation until April 30, 2012. According to the NLRB, it delayed the effective date of the new rule at the request of a federal court which is hearing a legal challenge to the rule.

For more information on the notice posting requirement, please see our article, or visit the NLRB's webpage. If you have questions about the new posting requirement, or your organization's obligations under the National Labor Relations Act, please contact your labor and employment counsel, or contact us.
